The Skill Development Council has been delivered with the following functions: Identification of skill development needs including preparing a catalog of types of skills, range, and depth of skills to facilitate individuals to choose from them. Development of a sector skill development that plans and maintains skill inventory. Skill development refers to the identification and clarification of skill gaps and developing the existing skills to enable a person to achieve their goals.
