NCHMCT-JEE
NTA will conduct the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination 2019 (NCHM JEE-2019) in CBT mode for admission to the B.Sc. Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc.HHA) across the Country.
Admissions
The admission criteria on the undergraduate program is strictly merit based on the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology(NCHMCT). The aspirant should minimum have passed 12th/senior secondary exam or is equivalent from any recognized board. Those appearing for 10+2 exams can also apply for the JEE to gain provisional admission (which may be withdrawn on failure to qualify 10+2). Upper age limit for general/OBC candidates is 22 years where as SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 3 years.
The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) is taken by candidates who look forward to having a successful career in the hospitality industry. Its latest iteration, NCHMCT JEE 2017, was a three hours long examination, covering subject areas like Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language and Aptitude for Service Sector. It was a 200 marks question paper. Based on your performance in the NCHMCT JEE, you will have to register for counselling sessions. However, before attending the counselling sessions, it is advisable to use the college predictor tool to identify the colleges that you are eligible for. After that, attend the counselling sessions with the requisite documents to complete the admission process. During the counselling sessions, be sure to discuss your preferences so that you can get admission in the college and department of your choice.
